About the project

The Sustainable List is a curated online list of ethical fashion brands from all over the world. We feature brands that produce good-looking, high-quality products, and do less harm to the planet.

We choose fashion brands that aim to work more sustainably by providing or developing a more responsible supply chain, fostering local production and fighting for decent worker conditions.

Many of them have been recognised for their work towards sustainability and certified by associations like the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). Others participate in movements like 1% For The Planet to give back part of their margins to non-profit organisations.

The following certificates appear throughout our list:

With this platform, we want to make it easier for people interested in fashion and sustainability to find brands that do good and contribute to the development of a more responsible and sustainable fashion industry.

Who we are

Noah(CEO & Visionary)

Noah is our main source of inspiration. Though he doesn't actively contribute to the project yet, he has reinforced our thinking about the future of his generation and why we want to contribute to becoming a more sustainable society.

Andreea(Strategy & Content)

Andreea has always loved fashion. With the fashion industry's bad practices becoming more apparent though, she started turning her attention towards sustainability and creating positive change. As the main initiator of the project, she's continuously filling this site with new content.

Marcel(Design & Development)

With a background in computer science, Marcel uses his skills to bring all of the team's ideas to life and turn them into actual layouts and code. Even though not his main craft, he's also got a soft spot for UX, design, and creative entrepreneurship.
